Prescriptions

Ways to order your prescription:

• Use the NHS App (this is the most secure way to order and you can track the progress of your request). NHS App – NHS

• Email* your request to: cmicb-wi.lgpprescriptions@nhs.net
• Through your local Pharmacy (if you are classed as vulnerable and already have an arrangement in place.)
• Pop into the practice with your repeat slip or fill out a request form at our reception desk. 

*If you do not have access to email, you can nominate a friend / relative to email your request on your behalf.

We cannot accept prescription requests over the phone.

Collecting your prescription:

Electronically: All patients are required to set up a nominated pharmacy. Your prescription will be electronically sent to this pharmacy.  This can be changed at any time by contacting the surgery or pharmacy.

Paper Copy: You can still choose to collect a paper prescription from us and take it to the pharmacy yourself. 

Please note: We have a strict 2 working day turn around on all routine repeat prescription requests. It is the responsibility of the patient or carer to ensure the request is put in on time. Any requests received on weekends will be received by the practice on Monday and will still have a 2 working day turn around.
