Medical examinations, certificates and items which are not covered by the NHS will involve a fee. These include driving medicals, sports medicals, life assurance, employment medicals, private prescriptions and private letters. You will be advised of the required fee when making your request. Lengthy forms such as life assurance reports may take up to four weeks to be completed.
