Commitment to Carers Conference – Wirral Carers Alliance

Description

The Wirral Carers Alliance is hosting the ‘Commitment to Carers’ Conference.

The event takes place during Carers Week and focuses on building Carer Friendly Communities, highlighting practical ways local organisations, workplaces, schools and services can better recognise and support unpaid Carers.

This event will bring together Carers, Support Services, and Key Organisations to establish how we can build Carer Friendly Communities and improve support for those who have caring responsibilities for family and friends

• Hear from inspiring speakers
• Discover local support services
• Connect with fellow Carers
• Have your voice heard

The conference will be split across 3 sessions over the day to ensure there is flexibility and Carers can access the event at times that are convenient for them.

Who is this aimed at?

This event is for ALL unpaid Carers on Wirral, no matter what their circumstances and the type of caring role they have.

Time

This is an all-day event – sessions as follows:

Morning Session – 10am to 1pm
Afternoon Session – 1pm to 5pm
Evening Session – 4pm to 7pm
