From the 1st July 2018 we have been offering phlebotomy appointments at our surgery. (You can no longer use the phlebotomy hubs to have your blood tests taken).
Home visit blood tests – This is strictly for housebound patients only.
If you are not housebound you will be asked to come to the surgery to have your blood tests. Please contact the surgery on 0151 638 4764 to book.
Examinations are undertaken at six weeks by doctors, if you have a young baby you will be sent an appointment automatically. It is vital that you register new babies with the practice as soon as possible.
Routine immunisations are a very important part of preventive medicine it is strongly recommended that your child has all the immunisations recommended in the red book, which you receive when the baby is born. Your baby’s first vaccination appointment will automatically be sent to you.
Asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) patients are encouraged to understand the disease and treatment. Spirometry was performed regularly to check patient lung function prior to Covid-19 and will resume soon. Face to face review appointments can be booked with our Practice Nurse. We recommend patients with Asthma or COPD have an annual review with one of our clinicians.
An appointment can be booked with our Practice Nurse for your annual Diabetic Review. Please call us to book a blood test which will be followed by a review approx. 1 week later.
